Party Planning: Ghouls Night Out

It's Halloween time, which is basically my favorite night because I get to play dress up. Even though technically Halloween is next week, I'm already thinking of the party I would plan...

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day (although technically it's a whole week in my family) to my Mom and my Grandmothers! I'm so lucky to have such stylish, strong, and beautiful women in my life. This Mother's Day is particularly special because it's also my Grandmother's 80th birthday. I tell her all the time that she's my "soul sister" as well as my Grandma.

I also would like to take the time to wish all the Moms who follow Sparkles of Life - enjoy your day!

Party Planning: Easter

I won't be hosting Easter for awhile but I love to think about fun party ideas, so why not plan a pretend party?

The menu would incorporate as many chocolate Easter bunnies as humanly possible.

Fun and bright flowers would be everywhere.

Obviously there would be an egg hunt involved (who doesn't love friendly competition...)

Everyone would wear fabulous, perfectly colored and bright Easter outfits.

How much fun would these bunny shaped napkin folds be?!

Party Planning: Valentine's Day

I love a good party, and while I won't be throwing a Valentine's Day Party this year, I can still think of ideas.

Card games are always fun, especially when they are played with pink cards!

Pink drinks would be a must! (Pink Panty Punch, anyone?)

I would definitely wear pink, although everyone else could wear whatever he or she would like!

This lip print would be the perfect decor (and easy to make yourself)!

A pink cake from Magnolia is always a do.

NY Moment: Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Although I still have yet to actually make it to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade (I know I'm a bad New Yorker) I always eagerly anticipate watching the ginormous balloons floating by.

Can you imagine seeing them in real life?
