Packing for my trip and it's a bit of a frenzy! Almost everything is in NY and I'm praying it all fits. Usually I'm meticulous about what I pack and this time around it feels like a bit of a wild card.

Thinking about my Christmas decor. Historically I'm not much of a Christmas decorator, but I'm craving some holiday cheer around the condo so I just may bring in some pretty and festive flowers.

Planning out my Paris and London itinerary. As the planner of the family, I try to make a few reservations in advance, leave a few nights open for my family of free spirits and look up all the exhibitions happening around the city. I choose what I want to go to, and usually the rest of the group follows! This time I really want to experience something fun and festive, so stay tuned!

Preparing for my adoptoversary photoshoot with Paloma! I've been playing around all week with different outfits and have a feeling it will be a game time decision.
'

Trying out Marianne Simon's blackberry crisp recipe that she shared on instagram earlier this week. I am a sucker for a fall desert like this and I prefer a crisp just because it's less effort than a pie and just as delicious. Even better - I have all of the ingredients already stocked in my pantry!

Searching for a backup pilates studio! A year later and I still miss my old pilates studio. I loved the way we worked out and the results I had. I love the studio I'm currently at, but the workouts are not challenging enough for me. I'll still go because they. have worked wonders with my form and I love practicing pilates from a physical therapist perspective.

Rethinking the flowers for my patio! Having a container garden has been a learning curve for me. I realize that I need flowers that need minimal water because I don't have a hose and they must need partial sun. In a nice to have, they won't shed their flowers, petals and leaves just because they make a mess and Paloma loooooves getting into them! I'll report back on where I land.

Making lunch plates for lunch this week! I was catching up with my good friend Cait and she was telling me how inspired she was by lunch plates and sent me some information. Needless to say, I can't wait to take a stab at this myself! It feels manageable, satisfying and delicious.

Reading Alexandra Stoddard's book Daring to Be Yourself! I love ordering older books on Thriftbooks and this was an impulse buy that I'm really enjoying. I've really lost my sense of style and self the last few years and this book is really helping me on my quest to get back to me!

Catching up with all of my needlepoint projects. The amount of projects I have in my stash is a little alarming. It's not crazy crazy, but enough to get me stitching pretty regularly. I have a few trips coming up and I will be taking advantage of hte long flights.

Revamping my morning routine. In an effort to have a more mindful morning, I've made a few key shifts and it's really starting to pay off. I purchased an analog alarm clock, I now drink a liter of water with lemon in the morning, and no phone for at least an hour. I feel more present

Thinking about hosting a fun get together with a few friends down here! I haven't had hte chance to host at my place yet and it feels about time to throw on my hostess hat once again.

Planning out all of my outfits for Europe! It's a little early to pack, but I'm mentally trying to figure out what I'm going to bring and wear on my travels. I like to be efficient and pack only what I want to wear, mainly because I want to have room to bring anything I may pick up back.

Counting down the days to my trip abroad! I'm so excited to be going to Paris with my sister, and then meeting up with my family in London a few days later. It will be a much needed time away and the perfect

Using my Dad's Sedona Wellness PEMF facemask and I'm obsessed. It's quickly become an essential part of my closing shift and I may need to keep it (or save to buy one of my own). Yes, it's amazing and yes, you will feel silly wearing it - trust me though, it's worth it.

Implementing a few new routines. I think it's safe to say that any form of discipline I had went out the window 5 years ago, but I'm finally getting my life back on track in a sustainable and long term way. This deserves a post all of it's own, likely on my Substack, but just know that a lot of personal work is happening behind the scenes!

Planning out a photoshoot with Paloma! What started out as a joke has turned into a reality and I'm starting to come around to it. I love her so much and what better way to celebrate an adoptaversary than pictures! I need to work on my outfit and coordinate a look for Paloma because if we're going to be over the top, we have to take it to the next level!

Wishing I had worn more of my summer wardrobe. My closet is overflowing with clothes and some of my favorite looks got lost in the weeds and didn't get their time to shine. There is always next summer, which will come soon enough!

Cooking this apple cinnamon overnight oats recipe! As I've mentioned before, I'm trying to make it feel more like fall and this recipe feels like a healthy fall breakfast. I'll report back!

Editing my closet down! This weekend I plan on borrowing my Mom's rolling rack and really getting to work on what to keep, donate, and save. My closet is totally out of control and in need of major editing.

Listening to the goop podcast at my good friend Cait's suggestion. I love anything GP does, so I don't know why I wasn't listening before. It's made my mornings must more interesting and I have os much to catch up on - it's been a great addition to my commute!

Loving my Rise Centered alarm clock. I didn't know how I would like having an analog alarm clock again, but I absolutely love it. My morning are less hectic, I've taken my phone out of the bedroom and my mornings. I will say not only is it chic, but I've had much slower and lovely mornings as a result. The light comes on about 30 minutes before the chirping birds alarm goes off, which is great!

Revamping my coffee bar. My keurig died this morning, so I'm in need of a new coffee maker and I'm thinking of going back to the old school kind of coffee maker! I'm sick of constantly buying coffee pods and this is the perfect time to try something new.

Preparing for cozy season. Even though I live in Florida, I still crave those cozy, crisp mornings. I usually have to wait until I visit NY or for January down here, but I savor those few moments. I love love love the Florida weather, but sometimes I do miss those fist few chilly mornings of fall. In order to add some cozy to my day-to-day I've bought some fall scented candles (Sincerely, Sarah Jane is the clean brand I prefer).

Getting back on track with a new routine and diet. I'm highly motivated to get my life back and to get into shape. This month is dedicated to building a new, sustainable routine that incorporates workouts of all kinds, getting my steps in, and cooking healthy meals. I really let myself go the last year and I'm determined to get back to where I started. I have a friend joining me on this endeavor and I'm excited for both of us!

Working on Towerhouse! I'm really excited to start working on the Towerhouse relaunch and to get it done right this time around. Last time, I didn't really know what I wanted and even worse I was afraid to speak up when I really didn't like something. This time around I have a clear vision of what I want, and I'm really looking forward to sharing it with you all!

Searching for a chic black dress. I have a wedding coming up in a month or so and I'm on the hunt for something to wear. I have a backup option, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that I find a pretty black dress that works for both this wedding and the upcoming season!

Planning a trip to Paris and London! The last time I was in either place was two years ago and I'm so excited to be going back. Paris holds and especially special place in my heart and visiting friends, family and old haunts there brings back the best kind of memories. The flights are booked and now I'm officially in booking mode.

Starting to write again! After a long hiatus I'm ready to get back into writing and musings. I stopped for a few reasons, but I'm back in a place where I have the time, energy and inspiration to start again. I don't know how regular of a writer I'll be, but I'm going to do what feels right and is sustainable. That being said, it's all about baby steps for me!

Taking Pure Synergy vitamins. It took what feels like a lifetime, but I finally found vitamins that I absolutely love and work for me. My friend Rena is so knowledgable when it comes to supplements and when she introduced me to Pure Synergy, I immediately knew I needed these vitamins in my life. I love them because they are actual food, made in the USA with organic products and have no fillers.

Working on personal development! After a year of chaos and crash landings, I'm determined to get my life back on track and in order. It's time to buckle down and create a plan that works for me and aligns with my goals. I'm working with someone who is helping guide me, because sometimes you just need a coach with a neutral perspective.

Enjoying pilates still. While my first studio closed down, I found another one that I really enjoy and fits perfectly into my routine. Pilates is the first workout I've found that I genuinely like and my body craves. One day I want to buy my own reformer, but that will be further down the line - when I have more time, space and money.

Celebrating my birthday! I'm turning 37 this weekend and will be cheers-ing with family and a few friends in NY. I'm excited to be home for my birthday and look forward to a trip to the Frick, a favorite NY restaurant and maybe a little bit of birthday shopping.

Celebrating being in the condo! After almost a year of renovating and months of nesting, I'm finally in my home and feeling settled. It's still a long way from being where I want to be, but I'm in and that is what matters. I'm so grateful for the time I had living with my parents again, but being back in my own space feels so great.

Reading the poem If by Kipling. This poem really struck a cord with me! I reall ylove the meaning behind and it really hits home for where I am in my life.

Doing a lot of personal catch-up work! I'm working on getting my life back together. After months of letting things like my diet, home organization and workouts slide I'm aggressively playing catching up. I'm obsessed with my full-focus planner, which keeps me on track, and seeing the results come into play is the best kind of motivator.

Craving a wardrobe refresh. I looked at my closet the other day and realized that I've skewed too far into grandma-land, even for me! This summer I'm going to focus on elevated but fun looks that I can wear all year round.

Eating healthier! I really let myself go, as in I ordered PF Changs 2x in one week, and as summer approaches my body and soul is craving fresh and healthier options.

Pulling inspiration for the condo! I'm excited to start moving into the decor phase and have a few different ideas to make the place feel more like me. This weekend is all about pulling inspiration and to start finalizing plans.

Cleaning out my closet. I've been so lucky to have a massive wardrobe for the past few years. While my new closet is still very large, it doesn't have quite the same amount of space my current one has. It's about time for a closet clean out anyway, so the timing is perfect!

Thinking about booking a few trips! Last year I didn't have enough vacation days and this year I almost have too many. I'm excited to finally book a few real vacations and I need to start thinking about where I want to go.

Catching up on a million and one errands. I've taken a lot of time to relax and enjoy my parent's company the past few weekends so this weekend will be all about catching up on everything I put off. This includes laundry, meal prepping, and things like getting my clothes tailored.

Hoping my patio/balcony looks as chic as I hope it will! I have visions of pretty topiaries, lemon trees, and a ton of orchids. I know it will all come together the way it should, but it's just a matter of fitting it all there!

Happy Weekend,

Getting my haircut! It's been a few months since my last haircut and I'm excited to try a new salon. While I liked my old one, I'm still trying to find one I loved as much as my NY one.

Watching Nina Campbell's Create Academy course! So far I've loved every single class I've taken and I have zero regrets on signing up for the yearly class.

Craving cozy, neutral clothes! I know everyone is excited because spring is around the corner, but I'm still eager to wear something I can lounge in.

Making some major headway on the condo renovation (and as a result, my 101 in 1001 list). I'm not done yet, but I'm getting closer and closer to moving in and I can't wait.

Searching for some yummy vegetarian recipes for Lent. I never realize how much meat I eat until it's Lent and I can't eat it every Friday. To keep it fresh for me and my parent's, I've been looking up different meat-free meals that I can cook.

Enjoy the weekend,

Making major strides in my renovation! It's amazing how quickly things move - I admittedly was not prepared for how fast the pace would be but I'm trying my best to catch up (and be ready for the next round).

Wishing I had more bows in rotation! While in Paris I picked a few up, but too much is not enough (in my opinion at least!)

Trying out a new recipe this weekend! I'm in the mood to cook and think a new recipe will be the perfect thing to try this stormy weekend.

Dreaming of a garden, but mentally planning out my patio planter garden. I'm so excited to dive into making my patio feel like an oasis. Stay tuned!

Thinking it's time to update my wardrobe - I want a few more neutrals thrown into the mix and looove white and cream for winter in PB.
