Summer Goals Outline

Last week I shared my three summer goals and this week I'm sharing how I'm going to hold myself accountable and outline my plan for each goal! One of the best ways to keep myself motivated is to post my progress here. You can expect for me to start weekly check-ins where I share how I'm doing and if any progress has been made! I'm starting my goal kickoff this week, so next week will be my first official check in on my progress. June will hopefully be a "get it done" month because I want to make some major progress before my birthday. In the meantime, below is some more insight into why I chose the three goals I did.

I'm really bummed that I haven't made more progress with my 101 in 1001 to do list. This summer I'm going to make a big push to get 25 goals checked off, especially with my second to last check-in around the corner. I'm thinking that setting dates in a calendar and scheduling in advance is the way to keep myself on track. If it's in the books, I can't cancel! That in addition to my weekly check-ins will hopefully help me on schedule.

Saving for a down payment on a house has been quite the process. I took a mini pause from the Baby Steps this winter but I'm going all in this summer and focusing on Baby Step 3B. I am dying to buy a house and want to be able to put down as much money as I can, especially with interest rates so high! This is a personal goal, and I don't plan on sharing dollar amounts, but I'll try to share progress here in a way that shows how I'm doing without sharing more than I'm comfortable with.

It's no secret that I've been struggling to navigate my weight gain. Between a train wreck diet and no workouts whatsoever I managed to put on 30lbs over the course of two years. Obviously a few somethings need to change and this summer is the perfect opportunity to do it. I'm going to plan out a workout schedule that works for me and really make a push to lost half of the weight I gained! It sounds ambitious but I think it's doable.

Anyone else have any goals and care to share?

ARS xx
