Celebrating the start of my birthday month! I love my birthday and this year I'm going to try to amp up my personal celebration. It's been a challenging year and starting life over from scratch is definitely taking a toll on me, but I'm ready for 34!
Planning out the rest of my summer. I didn't realize how spoiled I was until I left NY. It's much more difficult to be spur of the moment in Florida - or maybe I haven't discovered how I can continue that lifestyle yet. It's a bit of a drag having to plan everything out so far in advance, but I guess things could be worse!
Preparing for hurricane season. I absolutely do not want to be scrambling when a hurricane comes around! I want to have everything ready to go and with the hope I never have to use it. Now that hurricane season has officially started it's time to get organized.
Enjoying my neighborhood walks. I miss walking the streets of NY - I could walk the same route every day and never get bored because something new was always happening. Obviously that's not the case down here, but I'm noticing wildlife and nature that spices up my daily walks.
Dreaming of my future home. Living with my parents has been great! I've spent so much quality time with them I never would have had if I stayed in NY and hit a few major financial goals too but, I really miss having my own space. Until I find the right spot, I'll be enjoying time with my parents I would never have had otherwise.
