These pictures by Steven Seigel are unbelievable! I was floored by the pictures featured in this article by the Gothamist, especially because I recognized a couple spots in the pictures. They weirdly inspire me to take out my camera and take some snapshots as well.
They explain why my dad refused to take the subway and why my mom thought it was a big deal that she walked across the Brooklyn Bridge.
