Currently....

Gearing up for Phase 2 of reopening New York. As we get closer to the next phase of reopening, my office is preparing to get everyone back to work in a responsible, measured way. I'm really excited for when I can get back into the office, but know there are a few things around my apartment I'd like to get done before I'm back to work full time.

Planning my meals for next week! I really miss my Martha & Marley Spoon subscription. I was able to try out so many different recipes and expanded my cooking skills beyond my wildest dreams. The subscription doesn't fit into my current budget, but I'm excited to meal plan and use recipes from all of the cookbooks I already own! Stay tuned for more.

Celebrating Father's day! For the first time, maybe ever, my Dad has asked for a gift for Father's Day -malted milk ball gelato.  Did he read my Easter blog post? While I'm not able to fully deliver this weekend, I'm going to surprise him with it next weekend! I can't wait to finally be able to do something nice for my Dad. He's hands down the most difficult to shop for.

Ordering books to pick up in store! I'm so thrilled to order a few book that I can pick up in store. I really missed buying new books, but I'm opening my budget so I can treat myself to a book or two. I wrote about books I was rereading, wanted to order, and pre-order awhile back, so I'm sure no one is surprised that books are something I'm willing to add back into the budget first. Because this is such a treat, I'm buying hard copies of the books and not ordering them straight to my nook.

Thanking everyone for their prayers last week that an AC unit would come up for sale in my building. Ask and you shall receive! Almost right after hitting publish I got a notification that a brand new AC unit was available for purchase in my building. I immediately got back to the poster and within 2 hours I had a brand new AC unit purchased, delivered, and installed! While this was an unexpected expense, I finally to my stimulus check to help balance out the difference.
