Garden Stool Chic

Since looking for apartment update inspiration I've noticed a reoccurring theme in my favorite rooms - garden stools. Whenever I think of them I inevitably think of my sister. She is has a knack for fining great ones on Hayloft and has grown quite the collection. At one point she wanted to use them in lieu of dining chairs, but I talked her down from that thought. I mean, did she ever want people to come over again? Lucky for her they are so versatile and can be used in so many different rooms and in so many different ways. Quite a few years ago I saw a stellar Meissen garden stool at Rago Auctions and still have regrets about not bidding on it. At the time it didn't seem like a purchase that made sense, but whenever I visit my sister's apartment, I always think back to that auction and what could have been.
