Hayloft Auctions story of mine recently, but I wanted to dedicate a post to one of my favorite Bronx located design resources - especially because Hayloft has an
auction live right now! I'm a bargain shopper through and through. Oftentimes this means I'm waiting for things to go on sale (on sale...on sale...on sale), buying used, or even making trades/bartering to get what I want. That being said, Hayloft is one of my favorite places for bargain shopping when I need furniture, artwork, and the like. While I predominately buy artwork, my new desk is from Hayloft and I recently bought a tres chic side chair for a future apartment. If you have never bought at auction before,
Hayloft is a great place to start out! The prices are right and there is something for everyone, no matter your style. I personally have been successful with both furniture and art, but there are so many silver pieces and decorative art options to search through, as well as the occasional jewelry or fashion piece. If you have a little bit of imagination and the willingness to make a few updates (think: paint and reupholstery) you are sure to snag something chic and unique for your apartment.
