Celebrating that fact I participated in the Race for Hope. I have never run a race before and I'm thrilled to say I completed it. We won't talk about how long it took me to finish, but I crossed the finish line and didn't stop once!
Getting my life back on track. I lost the plot for two years, but I'm starting a new outline for my life and I'm excited about it. The last two years were all about setting the groundwork and taking the time to really appreciate the little things. Now I'm excited to move on and get on track to get to where I want to be and feel a little bit like myself again.
Treating myself to a new needlepoint canvas. I may have overcommitted with my first canvas size, so I scaled it back a bit it back a bit and
finished my first project last weekend. It was a true celebration because I checked off another one of
my 101 in 1001 goals for the year. I saw a few adorable ones at
Lycette that have me ready to start another small project before getting back on track with my larger one. I'm thinking a coaster set!
Trying to make new friends. It's so great to have so many ways to keep in touch with old friends, but is there an easy way to make new ones? Moving to a place where you know absolutely no one is a challenge that I'm up to, just struggling on where to start! Any tips on meeting people would be very welcome.
Catching up on all of my chores! I have loads on loads on loads of laundry to do, a closet to be organized (and edited), and meals to be prepped. I clearly have a thrilling weekend ahead of me of just housekeeping things.
Lots of things to keep me busy this weekend!
