Designer Love: Frances Valentine

I loved Kate Spade back in the day. I'm talking 90's/early 00's Kate Spade - not the cheesy saying brand we have all come to know. I was first introduced to the Kate Spade brand by my Dad, when I was very young, and remember a few years later seeing Kade Spade messenger bags being the 7th grade backpack to have. I loved the clean lines, easy fabric, and how unfussy everything was. I never got the messenger bag (I got a backpack) but I did steal my Mom's diaper bag (still have it). I shared awhile ago my excitement about the original Kate Spade crew coming back together , but I never really revisited my love for the company since! I love that Frances Valentine is going back to their roots - straw bags, clean lines and just a touch of whimsy. This weekend I opened my mailbox and was delighted to see that they even brought back a catalog for Summer 2020! It brought such a huge smile to my face, so I'm sharing a few of my favorite images from the catalog.
