Reflecting on my time in New York. There is nothing like returning home, but for some reason this trip felt off. I don't know if it was the weather, not seeing my whole family, or that it felt very anticlimactic, but something wasn't great about going back to NY this time around and it's been on my mind since returning.
Thinking about signing up for tennis lessons this summer! I was at a party last weekend where everyone was talking tennis and I was relieved to learn that I wasn't the only one to start tennis lessons later in life. It's a sport I wish I learned much earlier, but I'm eager to look into lessons and see how I can best fit this into my summer routine.
Reading about and educating myself on inflation. Getting my finances in order was a major deal for me and something I'm really proud of checking off my 101 in 1001 list (read more about my most recent check-in here). I'm worried that I'll need to bump up my 6 months emergency fund up a bit based off of inflation, despite the rate hikes, but I'm trying to figure out how much more I need to put aside.
Ready for TGIF already,
ARS xx
