Every year I like to treat myself to a gift - usually it's something big that I have been in love with and just needed to right reason to justify the purchase. Last year I treated myself to Susan Elizabeth Phillips' new book (which at the time I considered to be a major extravagance) and this year, while I'm still trying to be especially thoughtful about my purchases, I plan on going a little bit bigger. Below is a mix of things that are on my dream wish list and that are in the running for my real birthday treat.
