Coffee Table Books: Where to Buy Them and Ones I Love

I'll be the first one to say that I have a bigger book budget than the average person. I absolutely love reading, it's a form of meditation for me, and is one of my favorite things to do. Consequently, I don't feel guilty about any book splurges, even the always expensive coffee table books. When I first started collecting these kinds of books they were more decorative and precious because of the higher price point. As the years have gone on and I've been less squeamish about opening them, I use coffee table books as inspiration for my future. It's my favorite source of inspiration! From fashion, to interior design, to travel, there is a beautiful book that fits any mood. Below are a few of my favorite books I return to over and over again and where I buy them now.

My favorite way to buy coffee table books is second hand, because it helps stretch my dollar a bit more and my books aren't decorative only - I am constantly flipping through and referencing them. I used to hunt for bargains at department stores like Saks and Bergdorf Goodman so deals on Assouline books, so when I realized I could find what I'm looking for on Thriftbooks my wallet sighed in relief. I also make a point of swinging by the book section of my favorite thrift stores, because I always find a treasure!

Roman and Williams Buildings and Interiors: Things We Made is a book I regularly return to time and time again. The book is chic and filled with inspiration for the home.

Another book I love and revisit whenever I need a style revamp is Gypset Style. If you've been a lifetime reader of my blog you'll know how much I love this book!

I'm a huge fan of flowers and have been dedicating time to growing and arranging them. A Passion for Flowers is such a beautiful book and has been quite the inspiration for me. I'm really looking forward to the holidays and my decor plans.

The World in Vogue: People, Parties, Places is another fabulous source of inspiration for whenever I want to add a touch of glamour to a project.
