Really excited about the new season of Lucifer! I don't know what it is about this show, but I just love it. It may have something to do with easy watching paired with fun plot twists. I'm ready to hunker down and have a netflix night in!

Working on a solution to acquire a piece of art from a company that does not ship. I spotted a ceramic turnip at the beginning of the summer and fell immediately in love with the artist Mark Kirk Kelly's work. She sadly passed away a few years ago, but you can still pick up her work at a few antique shops, ebay and at auction.

Prepping for a crazy November. Between the election and the coronavirus, I'm nervous about what is coming our way this fall. I'm gearing up for an insane November and am making a few changes to my routine in order to prepare myself.

Reminding myself that slow and steady wins the race. After all that has happened I'm really focusing on my financial health. Being furloughed for so long with no income or unemployment helping me out was terrifying. By the grace of God I was able to cover my four walls, but if I had a 6 month emergency fund I definitely would have felt a lot less fear in an already scary time. Realizing why I need an emergency fund was an important lesson I'm thankful to have learned now. I did the math and it will take me about 2.5 years to build a 6 month emergency fund, which is slower than I would like but I'll still win in the end.
