Quarantine Shopping List

I keep hearing rumblings of another lockdown coming in the fall or winter. While I'm praying this doesn't happen, I'm thinking back to what I really wish I could have had during the first lockdown (aside from a steady paycheck) so I could maybe prepare a bit better for the next one. To be honest, I really didn't need anything, but there were definitely a few small things that could have made the lockdown a bit more comfortable. Not that I plan on running out and buying a bunch of things I don't need, but now that I'm able to free up my budget just a tiny bit, I'm definitely going to make a thoughtful purchase (or two) in addition to increasing my donations. Below are a few things I really wish I had, but certainly made do without.

I would have loved a phone stand for facetime calls with friends instead of holding my arm out or hunching over the counter in the kitchen. I just ordered this marble stand on Esty, but also love this Simon Pearce one. Both are functional and a lot more elevated than the other stands I've seen floating around.

I had so many leggings and sweaters to wear, but I kind of wished I had a house dress to lounge in as the days got warmer. They are a bit more "dressed up" than sweats, but are still comfy and easy to throw in the washing machine. I have so many dresses, but unfortunately they all require dry cleaning after a few wearings. This taffeta Ann Mashburn dress is something I have my eye on, but am also drawn to this Ann Mashburn liberty dress - both are washing machine friendly.

I have this amazing brown Baker sofa table that has definitely seen better days and needs some sprucing up. Getting a cover for it would be fabulous and solve two problems - covering the mess under the table and the wear and tear from 30+ years of use. I don't know what is was, but seeing that mess began to really grate on my nerves. While I was searching for various solutions I found this amazing cover on Etsy, which seems like a dream come true. My only concern is that it will make the apartment seem to bright because I do have white walls, a cream sofa, and a light colored carpet.

What do you wish you had on hand?
