Rage?

Have you ever been in a job you hated? I have been. I worked for a small company and found myself (an intern) doing all the stupid little errands that no one else wanted to do. Tasks would include going from uptown to downtown to chinatown to the bronx...keep in mind that I am carrying about 20 lbs of fabric. As I would pound the sidewalks of Manhattan in my black patent leather platforms all I could think of was what if I quit right now? I would come up with different instances. My favorite being me storming into the office (in some really envy worthy outfit) listing off all the awesome contacts I have and how I am going to crush her business. Never happened, never will. I actually enjoyed working for them.

fast forward to now.

The people that I am living with (seniors) are on power trips. I can't wait for all but 3 of them to graduate. Seriously. I happen to have a flip (super cool highly recommend it) so I dream of telling them to do stupid things when they are drunk, film it, post it on youtube, and send it to the whole house via email. I also love the idea of pouring warm apple juice on them while they are sleeping so they think they peed themselves in their drunken sleep. Something my roommates talked me out of doing was putting all the water and soda that was in our leftover cups into a pitcher and then leave it on the counter. They would drink it. Idiots. I wish that I didn't have a conscience and believe in karma!

Am i the only one who thinks of doing things like this when angry? Do you? Maybe i'm just filled with anger...

Rain Rain Go Away...

...unless someone decides to buy me new boots and a jacket of course! Today it's raining and so I find myself procrastinating as usual and of course (me being me that is) I find myself looking to replace my old rain boots. I mean everyone knows that rainboots are tres important when it comes to rain attire...it's the most important part of the outfit. Rain boots are pretty imporant once you think about it. I mean they are the only things (aside from your rain jacket of course) that you can flaunt without a care in the world of ruination. Anyways, as I am searching I have several revelations as once. The first one being how much I am loving the "britprep" look that is coming into play. I mean who doesn't love brits (accents anyone?) and who doesn't love preppy people (lots actually...)??? The next being how am I going to justify buying these in this economy....

UGH UGH UGH

Anyways, I am loving the Jimmy Choo collaboration with Hunter boots. I used to have a pair of Hunters and then they became too popular so I moved on to a subpar rain boot. This pair is the one that would have me return to my Hunter love...

Being that I also have been a Barbour fan for years I just saw some images from their new "britprep" line and I just love them. this is my favorite image....

Loves it. Barbour is coming out with this line in the spring/summer. The look is not as clean and crisp as past Barbour jackets. I love this...I love the unexpected. ( I also love classic things with a twist, which is what Barbour achieves with this collection)
bye darlings!

A Beginning

SO why start a blog? Why not? I mean yea sure people have preconceived notions about bloggers but whatever. When I first started blogging in my digital arts and media class I thought of ugly pimply teenagers who had nothing better to do than whine to others over emotional friends. I have learned better...or maybe I have seen all the different types of blogs out there (fashion anyone??). Other possibilities may include me reverting back to an overly emotional, ugly pimply teenager. Anyway, after seeing all the different blogs out there I thought "hey, why not start my own blog for fun?". So here I am - writing my first "real" blog post...

WRITERS BLOCK FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES

...who would have thought that one might have thought blogging was hard. I for one did not! I mean it's just writing write? Yea, writing that all of my friends who care enough to read my crazy thoughts are going to see...keep in mind the randos who I don't know and will be even more harsh in judgments. No pressure. Actually, there is a lot of pressure. I don't want to sound stupid on my first post. I mean I feel like that is the most important one right? When someone clicks on your page there is only one post...only one impression to make. If you arn't interesting enough, then no one is going to read your blog. I mean I know I skip over all the boring ones, so of course other people are. I mean my blog looks so professional... the internet has a way of doing that I guess. So I asked DFM (my roommate) for advice and she had no idea. Sweet. So now here I am writing about nothing just to get my first post over with so I can start my blogging adventure. I hope you weren't too bored by my drab first post.

Be back soon darlings!

PS - for all you randos...
Keep tuning in, I promise to be entertaining and I love randos... I mean who doesn't?! And for all of those people bored with my frustrations...I promise it will get interesting.
